American Heroes Series
A stray off a Yale drill field in 1917, Stubby came home the first dog promoted to sergeant in U.S. Army history. Edition 01 puts that on gear you actually walk — the collar-and-leash set, or the lighter bandana collar.

Inspired by 1776
Washington kept thirty hounds at Mount Vernon. He named them in his diary: Sweet Lips, Drunkard, True Love. In October 1777, after the Battle of Germantown, his men found a small terrier on the field. The collar named General Howe. Washington had the dog cleaned up and sent back to Howe under a flag of truce, with a note. He was at war. He still stopped for a dog.
Jefferson bred Briards at Monticello for nearly forty years and called them the most careful, intelligent dogs in the world. Adams wrote home from Philadelphia and asked after Juno by name.
The Republic was new. The dogs weren't. We make gear for the ones still doing that job.
